Cracks In The Pavement

-Cracks in the Pavement-

I stare at the cracks
And, I wonder why we carve; these, pieces out.
Why do we do this to ourselves?
Why is this the way that we do things sometimes?
Are we bored, and in need of a spark.
Sometimes the ignited soul burns us when we’re not looking.
And, we don’t look as hard as we’d like.
We dream up our own safe realities.
There’s an inner shield you erect when you reveal you.
Playful banter makes the truth hide under the covers.
And, when people don’t do the things we desire most;
We are reminded of reality again.
And, of course, there, you stand:
I’m swimming in, an endless pool of self-doubt.
I am yet again, in, a tumultuous web of unresolved anger.
And, I wish I could scream out till my lungs hurt in the desert.
And, I want to be alone sometimes to savor each new breath.
Do you know how this body of mine, feels?
How could anyone know how you feel?
No one lives your moments for you.
You have to discover it all your own way.
Enter your moments wisely, and hold back when need be.
Don’t rush the inconceivable in life.
How can you beat what’s around the corner?
<>If it is not worthy of you, then why do we try so hard?
And, why waste time on a false hope?
If it still the same today, what makes you think it’ll change tomorrow?
And, I find myself here, staring at the cracks again.

Bathing in these words...

Wow..
The creative flow in me is like a waterfall at the moment.
It just won't stop.
It's awesome!
Truly, awesome.
I came up with a bridge for a song that I wrote recently.
I just recorded it for myself.
Listening back to this a few times.
I'm liking the sound of it..
I think I might have something here.
This is a keeper..
And, if you want me to sing it to you..
You'll have to ask me nice..;)
Actually, what I should do is put some samples of my music on here..
So, that y'all can have a listen.
I'm working on it.

In The Labyrinth

LABYRINTH GODDESS

Do you ever feel like you are in a private labyrinth?
One that only you can fully understand.
Sometimes,
I have dreams of this nature.
This painting describes how I am feeling.
I have much more to say.
But,
I will leave it for another day.

Something short and sweet for today...

This world can be one fucked up place at times, can't it?
C'est la vie.

At the Imax...

I went to the Imax on Friday night and, saw the Kilimanjaro show.
It was awesome. The reclining seats in the first few rows are nice.

Anyway, I was really impressed by the two 12 year olds, who did the climb.
And, the boy who hurt his knee yet still kept on going. There is a lesson in there.

It took the team a week to climb to the top of Kilimanjaro.

And, the elderly lady who became short of breath when she reached a higher altitude
had an amazing drive, within her as well. This group were determined to reach the top and, they did. Pretty neat, I must say.

If you haven't seen it yet, you should go!

I'm going to Greece next week.
So, that should be awesome.
