MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL! OR, ARE WE SUPPOSED TO SAY HAPPY HOLIDAYS IN THESE POLITICALLY CORRECT TIMES OF OURS? ERR...MERRY CHRISTMAS! :) AND, YES IT IS A MERRY ONE THIS YEAR FOR ME, COUPLE OF NICE THINGS HAVE HAPPENED FOR ME. THE MOST AWESOME WAS WINNING THE 'EDITOR'S CHOICE' AWARD FOR ONE OF MY POEMS CALLED 'THE WISH':
IT IS ALSO GOING TO APPEAR IN A LARGE BOOK OF POETRY AMONGST OTHER POETS CALLED 'THE SOUND OF POETRY'.

The Wish

Many dreams will come and go.
And, I always see your face there.
I lie so this hurts a little less.
But, it doesn't help me when you smile at me like this.
We all try to be strong in our own way.
But, where is my strength now?
Have I thrown it all away?
On a hope,...
On a dream,..
On a wish, that never seems to be?
Many people fly in and, fly out.
And, I still remember you each day.
I hurt inside every day and night.
But, it doesn't help me when you send me your love like this.
We all try to be good in our own way, don't we?
But, where is my strength now?
Have I thrown it all away?
