In Solitary Patience

Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish. -John Quincy Adams-

Patience is the key to paradise. -Turkish proverb-

In solitary patience,
I wait for you silently.
Not asking for much,..
Just, some little things to get by.
My dreams are taunting me constantly.
Some dreams try to goad me into remorse.
But, then I think of you,
Only good thoughts are appearing to me.
The quiet certainties of life get us through each of our days.
You can count on me to always be here.
There is always a result to everything.
Things don't stay in a hiatus forever.
Focus your mind on being alive.
We are given moments to feel, so feel.
And, taste the fruits here, which are bitter and sweet.
One thing I know is true,
You can try to bend and break a person.
But, if we can find our own coping switch,
To banish the hatred we could carry.
Then, I promise, all fear, and all bad energy will flow in another direction.
Only good will come, when you let the good inside of you.
Tomorrow will shine more when you open the door of your soul.
Let me pour my moments of solace your way.
So, you know how it feels, to be free from the constant pull of the day to day.
Sometimes, we do feel helpless.
I hear you calling me, and I am bound by circumstance.
And, I know we all know this same old story.
But, sadly it is a tale that comes to us all in some way.
The love I offer you, is free of charge.
But, the mindset I am in, that holds on to you, is priceless.
I am feeling somewhat empty in this corner.
But, I'm sure that will mend.
Because, I know that...
You, are my beginning and my end.
