Not Alone

For a moment, I thought I was alone.
And, then you found me,
And, you reminded me that I was not.
I couldn't find the best way to reach you.
But, your hand brushes against mine..
Silently, when I close my eyes.
I'm in a sepia coloured dream each day and night.
I can't seem to break free of these daunting things.
Visions of happiness with you, brings me peace.
This peace, is one, that I will always seek.
When I think of you, I smile.
You know, I think of you, all the time.
And, I can't get you out of my mind.
Why would I ever want to?
When you feel blue, I do to.
But, I don't want you to hurt.
Tell me all of the things which cause you pain.
I will take them all, and I will throw them away.
I want you to share the peace that I keep inside.
Leave the agony with the ones, who choose destructive paths.
You're brain is better than that;
Because, you live on the highest plain.
Stay that way.
I would love to be with you always, in your arms.
All you have to do,
Is wish for your inner dreams to come true.
If you want me, you can have me,
But, as you can see, I am already yours.
And, I want us to be together more than anything.
Because, being alone in our separate worlds is pain.
